Hamed Goharipour, assistant professor of urban studies at The College of Wooster, recently published an essay on “Tehran in Iranian Post-Revolutionary Films” in the Encyclopedia Iranica (Cinema Iranica) that illustrates how Iranian movies and films use Tehran’s urban setting to convey city-person transactions.

When he first came to the College of Wooster, Gabe Wasylko ’19 declared a major in political science and a minor in mathematics, certain that he would attend law school and work as an attorney for a professional sports team.
