Wayne Local School District: Wellness Baskets

Wayne Local School District: Wellness Baskets
0Comments

Wayne Local School District issued the following announcement on January 27.

As part of a Winter Wellness Challenge, the 7-12 grade level staff members are participating in a little friendly competition. To avoid the common winter blues, the staff members will be competing with efforts to boost emotion and physical well-being, which has many benefits along the way.

In an effort to reward the top teams, the office is seeking gift basket donations that will be awarded to the top teams.  If you would like to help the staff with this challenge by donating item(s) for the baskets, donations can be dropped off at the Main Jr/Sr High Office.

Examples of items we’re searching for (but not limited to) would be:

  • Beautification, relaxation, and health services
  • Gift Certificates are always great for goods or services
  • something cozy
  • something that smells good (oils, candles, aromatherapy)
  • something for pampering (massage gift certificates, personal pampering, eye masks)
  • something inspirational or funny (quote signs, day of the year calendars)
  • something to drink (coffees, teas, hot cocoas, or electrolyte waters)
  • something to eat (think healthy snacks or something a little more indulgent, chocolate)
  • something musical or relaxing
  • a bestselling book
  • thermos/tumblers
  • movies tickets
  • journals/pens

Certainly, these are just ideas.  Your donations are much appreciated as we begin to assemble the reward baskets!!
