Chippewa High School standout Cooper Davies’ college team lost in NCAA Division II baseball game on Friday, March 7

On Friday, March 7, former Chippewa High School standout Cooper Davies’ current college team, the Malone Pioneers, lost 16-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Grand Valley State Lakers.

The game took place at Northeast Regional Park. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Pioneers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3:45 p.m. at Chain of Lakes Field against Wayne State Warriors.
