The 53rd Annual Ohio Sauerkraut Festival committee has chosen a winner for the 2023 Logo Contest and that is Samantha "Sam" Erbach.

Sam is a junior at Waynesville High School and participating in the Graphics Design II class and her design submission has been chosen as this year's winner.

Although final revisions are still underway, the official design will be released once completed in the next few weeks.

Congratulations Sam!

Stay tuned for the official logo release!!

The Waynesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Digistitch Embroidery, Inc. of Waynesville have partnered with Wayne Local High School for the second year in a row with a festival logo contest.  High school students in Kristen Elton's Graphic Design II class were given a project to create a logo for the 53rd Annual Ohio Sauerkraut Festival.  Students were given a few parameters and instructions to follow prior to design, such as color and diminsions, as well as the required details for the logo.

Last week, Eric Huber, owner of Digistitch Embroidery and official apparel sponsor of the festival, met with the finalists of the competition for further review of each design.  Mr. Huber provided the students with a great deal of insight for the business and shared his knowledge of what worked best, offering edit suggestions and positive critique.

The finalists will have an additional week to further tweak their logo design submissions before a final logo is chosen!

Great job by all of the students who participated by submitting a design!

A final design will be chosen in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned!
