Dr. Sam Ison is now officially the Superintendent of Wayne Local Schools. The Wayne Local Board of Education unanimously approved his contract on Monday, November 28th after being the Interim Superintendent. "I am appreciative, humbled, and honored. This is the highlight of my career" stated Dr. Ison.
Dr. Ison is a distinguished leader with an extensive background in education. His passion for students, staff and education, as well as his ability to unite all stakeholders, sets a strong foundation for the future of Wayne Local Schools. Congratulations Sam; we are honored!
