International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of International Education and to recognize the global exchange environment between the United States and other countries. On the national level, IEW was first held in 2000.
The College of Wooster is proud that IEW has been celebrated on campus for more than 30 years. The first festival was initiated by the foreign language faculty in the 1970s.
