This week we are SPOTLIGHTING Catholic Charities Wayne County Strive Mentoring Program
Becoming a mentor in the Strive Mentoring Program benefits an individual by providing a sense of "doing good" when they invest in the life of young person. The one on one mentoring and group activities impact a young person's life by offering them guidance, positive companionship and encouragement as they navigate the teen years.
The program is funded through the Wayne County Juvenile Court and is a wonderful opportunity for an adult volunteer in our community to make a positive impact on the next generation.
Upcoming events include:
- October 17 Ramseyer Farms in Wooster
- November 21 Yoga and a "De-stressing Session" with Caring Therapy Canines
- December 19 Christmas Party - making Christmas ornaments and decorating Christmas cookies
