Mrs. Baker's Life Skills Class recently completed a project where they toured our Mary L. Cook Public Library, completed forms for library cards, and checked out materials. Their next stop was The Village Family Restaurant, where they had to work on finding total of meals from the menu, and even shared an appetizer along with figuring tax and tip. They had to pay independently and ask for change to have correct amout to leave the tip. They also worked on table manners and how to speak to the server.
Thank you to the Mary L. Cook Public Library and The Village Family Restaurant for allowing Mrs. Baker's Life Skills class to visit and practice our skills!
We enjoyed it!!
