School Lunch Hero Day is celebrated on Friday, May 6, 2022. Wayne Local School District has the most hardworking and best food service professionals around! We take this week to appreciate their hard work and dedication to their jobs and preparing healthy meals for our Wayne Local students. They have many tasks at hand as they adhere to strict nutritional standards and navigate student food allergies, all while serving up with a smile. They are true heroes in every sense of the word and we appreciate all that they do!
