FOIA Request to Wayne County Regarding Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Logs on October 7, 2024.
As a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Wayne County Today have formally requested access to specific public records under the Ohio Open Records Law, §149.43 et seq.
The request specifically seeks a list of FOIA logs sent to Wayne County from January 1, 2024, till October 7, 2024. The fields requested include the requester’s name and organization, the content of the request, the date of the request and its completion date, as well as the status of the FOIA.
Access to these public records is essential for us at Wayne County Today in fulfilling our professional responsibilities. These responsibilities include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
